Process Safety in the Lab
Teachers and students share the responsibility for keeping their laboratories safe. In order to carry out this responsibility, each person working in a laboratory should learn:
- how to recognize potential safety problems
- how to protect himself or herself from potential hazards
- how to address unsafe acts conducted by others
- what to do in case of an emergency
- where to go to get more information
