 The course instructor will be Mr. Paul Butler, Senior Technical Manager for the Center for Chemical Process Safety.  Mr. Butler has more than 35 years of experience in the chemical process industries, spending 18 years as Director of Process Safety for Buckman Laboratories International, a global specialty chemical company with locations in the Americas, Europe, South Africa, China, Asia, and Australia.  Throughout his career, Mr. Butler has offered many training courses in Process Safety Knowledge, Process Hazard Analysis, Process Safety Management Systems, and Incident Investigation.  Mr. Butler was a member of the CCPS Technical Steering Committee for five years and chaired the CCPS Process Safety Incident Database project.  Mr. Butler received a BSChE from Virginia Polytechnic University and an MBA from University of Memphis.
